Much of the inspiration for
the distinctive Forest Lakes style can be attributed to the
developers, designers, and architects involved in the creation
of our community making hundreds of drives through some of
the most charming small southern towns in America.
As we visited each of these historical places, we collected
images of design elements of the local architecture that represent
